So during the GeoQuest race it was quite apparent that the only real shoes to wear were the Salomon Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX, these are a bit of a mouth full to say but they are a very nice comfy and supportive set of shoes, they also come in very bright and distinctive colours, so you don't have to go through the mouthful all to often. I have mine in Cosmos blue as you can see in the picture.
These shoes have a gore-tex lining inside and they are super breathable and water proof. They have the obligatory reflective bands on to help keep you safe when your pounding the roads at night.
Whilst being a little bit pricey side boast a very heavy technical arsenal to justify the price tag.
