Olympic training

One month after the decision to take part in GeoQuest was made I attempted my first Olympic distance triathlon, this is a 13 mile ride (20.92Kms) I and my training Partner Mr Twin did a total 31 kms, we then went onto 9.6kms run (6 miles), this was followed up by a pool swim, we both only managed 800 meters on the swim not the regulation 1500 meters.
So while the whole event was not a success, I think taking into consideration that I have only been running for about a month and swimming for about two, we should not be too hard on our selves for the effort. We've also agreed to attempt the same again in a months time. So continue with the training and try again next month.
